Jamaicans and the wider Caribbean Communities in Ireland
Jamaicans and the wider Caribbean Communities in Ireland is a non-profit organization based in Dublin, Ireland. Formally establish in September 2008, JCCI is committed towards creating a hub for individuals and their families from the Caribbean living in Ireland.
JCCI Aims Are:
•To promote awareness about Jamaicans and the wider Caribbean Communities in Ireland.
• To provide information for new Jamaicans and Caribbean immigrants coming to Ireland.
•To assist Jamaicans and the wider Caribbean Communities integrate into the Irish society.
•To organize network support for Jamaicans and the Caribbean Diaspora in Ireland.
•To support and advocate on behalf of individuals within Caribbean Communities in Ireland.
Our Objectives Are:
•Operate as an information centre and contact point for Jamaican and wider Caribbean communities in Ireland.
•Encourage and mobilize Jamaicans and the Caribbean Diaspora to assist in the development of their communities in Ireland.
•Support the interests of all Caribbean Communities in Ireland through political action and economic activity.
•Increase the human resource potential available to Jamaicans and other Caribbean individuals through training and skills acquisition.
•Respond in a variety of ways to the needs individuals.
•To develop methods of establishing self-help, self-sufficiency, and community enrichment programs for all Caribbean Communities Ireland.
JCCI's mission is to bring together the collective wisdom and talents of Caribbean individuals, organizations, groups, and friends to promote and enhance the broad interests of the Jamaican and other Caribbean communities in Ireland. Its aim is to strengthen and help in the integration of all Caribbean communities in Ireland through social, economic, educational, and cultural endeavors.
JCCI core mission is striving at all times to encourage, build unity and promote integration of Jamaicans and the wider Caribbean Diaspora into the Irish Society. We are a relatively new group and trying to promote caribbean interest in Ireland.
